Learning Objectives

• 1. Explain fundamental principles and methodologies essential for effectively operating within the EMDR protocol.
• 2. Apply methodologies for target sequence treatment planning in EMDR.
• 3. Demonstrate clinical application of writing SMART goals, objectives and progress notes with peers.
• 4. Explain difference between progress notes and psychotherapy notes, facilitating the implementation of accurate and ethical documentation practices in therapy settings.
• 5. Document all 8 phases of EMDR and demonstrate ability to document within the protocol.
