10:30 AM - 11:15 AM: Target Sequence Treatment Planning
Objective: Critically evaluate and apply various methodologies for target sequence treatment planning in EMDR.
Materials: Video: "The Golden Thread: Your Key To Complete Documentation" by T. Notes (YouTube)
Discussion Points: Forms and applications of target sequence planning.

11:15 AM - 12:00 PM: Writing SMART Goals and Progress Notes
Objective: Demonstrate clinical application of writing SMART goals, objectives, and progress notes with peers.
Materials: PCL Checklist
Activity: Group exercise to practice writing SMART goals and progress notes.

1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Understanding Documentation Practices
Objective: Acquire comprehensive knowledge regarding the contrast between progress notes and psychotherapy notes.
Materials: EMDR Target Overview, EMDR Target Tracking Form, Adverse Life Experience and Resourcing Tracking Sheet (emailed prior to session).
Discussion Points: Ethical documentation practices in therapy settings.


1:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Documenting the 8 Phases of EMDR
Objective: Document the 8 phases of EMDR and demonstrate the ability to document within the protocol.
Activity: Interactive session to practice documentation skills based on the EMDR protocol.
Duration: 2.5 Hours
